Hello, My name is Olivia and I am the Director here at Kids’ Stop Drake Landing. I come from a background in Child and Youth Care with Child Protection Specialization as well as ECE and Behavioural Intervention. Working alongside families has always been a passion of mine and I’ve been fortunate to do so in so many different capacities.
My son and I live here in Okotoks and have absolutely loved every minute of it. I moved to Alberta in 2018 from BC and like to think we’ll never leave this little town. In my spare time I love to spend time with friends and family, fish whenever I get the opportunity, spend time cooking in the kitchen and playing alongside my little guy.
I’ve always practiced from a relational perspective and am working towards creating a real sense of family within Drake Landing. All these children hold such wonder and I can’t wait to see where their time here at Kids’ Stop takes them.

Hi, my name is Tammy Cotton. I have been working with children for many years in different roles.
I’m originally from Calgary but moved to Black Diamond in 2008 where I lived for 12 years. We now live in Okotoks and we have been here for 2 years, we love everything about Okotoks. I have 3 children, 2 sons and a daughter.
When I’m away from work, I enjoy hiking, shopping and being with my family.

Hello, my name is Jenn S. I’ve worked with Kids’ Stop for 10+ years and have worn many hats within the company. My husband and I moved here from Ontario to be adventurous and see if we liked it, and over 10 years later we are still here!
We have a spunky full-of-sass 9 year old daughter and crazy 2 year old French Bulldog who keep us on our toes. We love the outdoors and spending time in the mountains.
Currently you will find me at our Auburn Bay location, where we have a great team who truly enjoys being with children, and watching them learn and develop.
Assistant Director: Ms. Jen B.
My name is Jenalyn Africano Balang, you can call me Jen. I graduated from University Of Rizal System in Philippines, with a Bachelor Secondary of Education. I also finished a Caregiving course with Childcare Development, and I have worked in Junior High and taught children with disabilities.
I moved to Canada back in 2008, and leaving my students felt like leaving my own family. I love arts and crafts, and I also enjoy sharing in fun activities with children. I also love singing! I am married and have one child.
I am the Assistant Director of Kids’ Stop Children’s Centre. Early on I worked in the yellow room here as a teacher, but I decided to apply as an Assistant Director to show my compassion and dedication in other ways; to inspire the educators and to help the centre as best that I can. The camaraderie in our center makes us unique and fabulous!

Hello my name is Payton Terry and I am the Director of the Before and After School Programs at Big Rock and Dr. Morris Gibson School. I have a Diploma in Child and Youth Care from the Lethbridge College.
I was born and raised in Lethbridge and just recently moved to Okotoks almost a year ago. I have always had a passion to work with children and knew I wanted to work with children from a very young age. Before leaving Lethbridge, I worked at a Before and After School Program. When I first moved to Okotoks, I worked at a Daycare Centre. My passion is working with school age children, as I love to see the ideas and growth, they have in the short period of time we get to see them.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I love cooking, long drives, going on walks, road trips and spending time with my dog. I am so excited to start my journey with Kid’s Stop.
